TWO well-known television news-readers will be chairing the debate at the Fleet News Hit for Six Conferences taking place in September.

This year, there will be a choice of two venues for Fleet News readers attending the conferences, in Oxford on September 20 and Ilkley, West Yorkshire, on September 27th.

The host of Hit for Six South will be Vivien Creegor, anchor newsreader for the award-winning Sky World News since 1989. Creegor also presents topical specials on subjects such as health, budgets, world finances and regularly interviews world leaders, prime ministers and senior statesmen.

Declan Curry, business presenter on BBC Breakfast and News 24, will chair Hit for Six North on September 27.

Curry, who was chairman of the Oxford event last year, reports each weekday morning from the studios of the London Stock Exchange or from locations around the UK. He covers business, the economy, share markets, the workplace and personal finance.
