The new Corsa, unveiled for the first time at the show, will take Vauxhall into a new market in the sector, the firm believes.

Vauxhall says its funkier design will attract younger company car drivers.

Paul Adler, brand manager – fleet, said: ‘The new Corsa will take us into fresh territory for user-choosers but, from a traditional fleet perspective, it’s the perfect car for the public sector. This is a massive market for company cars, and most of them are smaller vehicles so the Corsa, with its high levels of standard equipment, will fill that role perfectly.’

The Corsa, priced from £7,495 for the 1.0 12v Expression, comes with a CD player, Emergency Brake Assist, central locking, dual stage front airbags and electrically adjustable door mirrors as standard.
