Site Logistics Manager
Manchester – Salford
£45,000 - £55,000 + Package
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Logistics Manager to join a well established construction business in Manchester. The Logistics Manager will help control the day to day activities of the site by supporting the Site Manager.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of logistics to ensure smooth and efficient operations as well as ensuring site inductions are done to the highest of standards.
Duties:
* Develop and implement logistics strategies in line with site objectives
* Manage and optimise site, labour, and weekly deliveries
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in materials handling
* On site inductions for trades & labour
Candidate Requirements
* A proven track record within a Logistics Manager role
* Ability to deal with complex logistics issues
* Knowledge and understanding of safety procedures
* A strong team player with excellent communication skills
* Stable employment history
* Valid CSCS
* SMSTS
* IT Skills
* First Aid Certificate
* Right to work in the UK
* Traffic Marshall + Fire Marshall Ticket
* Leadership skills and experience in managing people
* Good time management and organisational skills
