The new Ford Mondeo's launch into the used car market has taken place this month at Manheim Auctions, Leeds, where new models achieved an average of 114.6% of CAP Clean across the nine derivatives offered for sale with a RV of 76.4%.

All vehicles were 07-56 plate and under 10,000 miles.

Also featuring in this closed sale were four Ford Focus Coupe-Cabriolets – Ford’s first power-operated convertible hardtop car – which achieved an average of 101% of CAP Clean and a residual value of 72%.

Three of the vehicles were 07-56 plate, one was 06-56 and all under 10,000 miles.

A total of 93 buyers registered for the event, which was also broadcast via Simulcast – Manheim’s internet link to a live auction where remote buyers, unable to attend in person, can bid online. During the auction 152 vehicles were sold and 33 of those went to the 55 registered online Simulcast bidders who logged in during the course of the sale.
