Ford is one of the most established names when it comes to UK fleet vehicles, and it’s not shy about celebrating its heritage.

For the past few years, the boys and girls from Essex have raided their photo collection and put together a calendar of images showing classic Fords.

The 2008 calendar sees a collection of vintage blue ovals with celebrities of the day.

“This came about because we’d done some work with the famous celebrity photographer Rankin,” said John Nevill, Ford’s heritage fleet administrator.

“We pulled pictures together that he regarded as iconic in Ford’s archives.”

The calendar is not available in the shops – Ford only distributes it to its guests and other VIPs.

So here, we give Fleet News Online users a look at the icons of yesteryear, from January to December.
