Peugeot has celebrated the opening of its new special vehicle operation centre by securing orders worth more than £500,000.

The new Special Vehicle Operation (SVO), which offers specialist conversions for use by the emergency services such as police support units, canine patrol vehicles and cars for scenes of crime officers, has recently moved to a new purpose-built facility in Coventry.

And at the recent National Association of Police Fleet Managers’ Show, the division secured orders for new vehicles which are worth in excess of £500,000.

Peugeot used the show to debut its new 308 SW model which has been converted for canine patrols with a removable dog cage in the back.
