Describe your fleet.
We have 1,166 vehicles at locations all around the UK. At the moment we have 986 cars, 174 vans and six motorcycles. How did you get into fleet?
After a few years in a secretarial role within the company, I was looking for more of a challenge when the vacancy came up for the fleet administrator role.

What is your favourite aspect of the job?
I like the fact that no two days are the same – it’s a varied and interesting job. From driver compliance and vehicle maintence to cost-saving measures, there’s always so much to do in fleet.

How is fleet administration changing?
We use KPIs when administering our fleet, so there is substantial monthly report data that has to be collected and processed in order to keep on top of the job.

What would make your job easier?
To work in a paperless office in order to save all the time spent filing invoices, assesments, reports and everything else which comes my way.

What item could you not live without?
Chocolate, I can’t live without the stuff. I am a self confessed chocoholic!
