Four new appointments have been made at epyx this month as the company continues to expand.

Marcus Williams has joined as buyer recruitment executive, working on the 1link Disposal Network e-commerce platform, developing new and existing business. He has spent the last four years as an international sales exhibition coordinator and is widely experienced in sales.

Carol Turnbull has taken the newly-created role of account executive in epyx’s customer services team, responsible for helping manage projects such as the company’s customer forum and its annual customer survey. She moves from epyx’s finance team.

Finally, Lorraine Abbotts and James Drury have joined epyx’s network support team. Abbotts’s experience includes 14 years with Arval while Drury initially joined the company last year after completing a degree in computer games design at Lincoln University and has since worked in a number of roles.

Ken Trinder, head of business development at epyx, the company behind 1link, said: “As a company, we are continuing to grow and take on more staff despite the tough economic conditions. We are very pleased to welcome these new recruits on board.”
