The Peugeot-based eExpert Tepee, manufactured by Glasgow-based Allied Electric, will take pride of place at the Green Vehicle Parade in Copenhagen on Sunday (13 December).

Allied’s eExpert Tepee will join a group of alternative fuelled vehicles that will be presented to Copenhagen’s Lord Mayor Ritt Bjerregaard and Environmental Mayor Klaus Bondam as well as delegates of the Climate Change Conference.

The vehicles will then be fitted with GPS software before taking part in the CO2 E- Race, which will see the vehicles trace out “CO2” by driving through the streets of Copenhagen and finishing at the Town Hall.

Allied Electric’s managing director Paul Nelson said: “We have had a lot of interest in our range of electric vehicles both nationally and internationally and we are delighted to use the Green Vehicle Parade to promote Scotland and the UK as a centre of excellence in the production of environmentally friendly vehicles.”
