Manufacturers, including Ford and Seat, have announced some new models to existing ranges and associated costs.

Ford has added another Econetic model to its Mondeo line-up. The 2.0 TDCi version offers a six-speed manual gearbox and slightly improved average fuel economy over the existing five-speed 1.8 TDCi Econetic (54.3 v 53.3mpg). CO2 emissions remain unchanged at 139g/km. Prices start at £20,795.

Seat has revealed details of a trio of sporty versions of the Ibiza supermini. All are powered by a 1.4-litre petrol engine with both a supercharger and turbocharger allied to a DSG semi-automatic gearbox. The 150bhp FR version costs £14,995, the 180bhp Cupra £15,995 and the differently styled but similarly engined Bocanegra £16,695.

The Sport Tourer version of Renault’s Megane will cost from £15,485 when deliveries begin in August. The estate model will be offered with eight eco2-branded models offering CO2 emissions of 140g/km or less.

Infiniti, the luxury division of Nissan, has announced UK pricing for its trio of new executive models which go on sale in September. The G37 range is available as either a coupe, saloon or convertible, priced at £31,950, £30,300 and £38,900 respectively.

Skoda’s jacked-up and more ruggedly styled Fabia Scout will be priced from £12,815. It is available with three engines: a 1.4-litre petrol or two TDI diesels in 1.4 or 1.9-litre capacity.
