Nissan has restructed its fleet team as it aims to capture an increased share of ther UK market.

With five new models due to arrive in the next 12 months, the manufacturer has reorganised its fleet team, combining the fleet and LCV operations (as well as its little-known forklift division) under corporate sales director Tony Lewis. Lewis steps up from his role as LCV sales director while James Douglas remains as fleet sales director.

Nissan is also changing the structure of its dealer network, simplifying its programmes, restructuring the way dealers earn their margins and upping service quality levels. There will also be increased attention on the firm's 54 Business Centre dealers, with the aim of driving more fleet sales through these outlets.
