Job Description:

Working with the UK's BEST Engineering Companies; the exciting role of Fleet Manager has become available on a permanent position. The role will involve the following:

* Overseeing the team looking after truck and trailer breakdowns

* Being a “go to” for daily fleet issues and problem solving mechanical issues with the team

* Working closely with service agents and setting up new suppliers to look after the fleet

* To oversee our own fleet of mobile vans and 6x tractor units for compliance ensuring all compliance anniversaries are met

* To vet supplier invoices to make sure we are being charged correctly

* To make sure the team are up to date with any overdue services and compliance

* Occasional supplier audit and spot checks on work carried out both by our own team and third party garages.

Desired Skills and Experience:

You will either have experience in a senior/supervisor positions working in HGV Commecrcial sector and/or the qualifications to do so such as NVQ level 3 or equivalent & IRTEC qualified. Not essential but ideally you will have a Class 1, Class 2, 7.5 Tonne driving license as well as experience working on a variety of commercial vehicles.
