RED Kite Vehicle Consultants will convert up to 200 Peugeot Boxer vans into minibuses over the next year. Minibus manufacturer Red Kite, based in Dorset, was established in 1982 and supplies schools, local authorities, youth clubs and community groups.

The company has based its conversion on the Peugeot Boxer for the last four years, using the 127bhp 2.8HDi Boxer with long wheelbase, high roof and ABS. Red Kite managing director John Maskell said: 'The new Boxer has the key benefit of having a greater usable space. Other advantages are the Boxer's reliability and durability. Our conversion features fully recyclable pre-formed aircraft-style interior trim panels.'
