Car Clubs
An increasing number of private and public sector fleets are looking to car clubs as an alternative to pool car schemes.
Car clubs: The benefits
Major cities are taking up car clubs more and more over recent years as the cost savings to companies can be substantial. With no service or maintenance costs to be paid and MOT's no longer necessary, the concept of borrowing a car for a hourly fee could save companies more than a thousand pounds a year.
The running costs of business cars can be substantial, then add on costs like maintenance, depreciation and tax, the costs can esculate. If company mileage is low, car clubs offer a different funding proposition for businesses.
