The new Nissan LEAF will feature an improved aerodynamic design that makes it even more efficient, allowing drivers to travel farther on a single charge.
It has a range of 235 miles and develops 150PS.
Nissan is also planning to announce a high-power version of the Leaf in spring 2019, which will offer even longer range up to 310 miles.
The LEAF will feature ProPILOT technology, enabling autonomous drive functionality for single-lane highway driving.
It will also have a new feature, e-Pedal, allowing drivers to accelerate, decelerate and even stop using just the accelerator. When swtiched on the system will moderate forward momentum depending on pedal position. Lifting off will bring the car to a complete stop
The manufacturer says it can cover around 90% of driving needs although a conventional brake pedal is still fitted.
