Ford has revived the Puma name for its latest compact SUV, based on the Fiesta.
The Puma will rival popular models, such as the Renault Captur and Hyundai Kona, replacing the Ford Ecosport.
Initially, there is a choice of two 1.0 turbo petrol engines with 125PS or 155PS both with mild-hybrid technology and CO2 emissions from 96g/km. There is also a version without the mild-hybrid system, using the same 125PS engine, that emits from 103g/km
Innovations include a "Megabox", an 80-litre space beneath the boot floor that expands available cargo space and features a removable plug to enable water to drain out.
Prices start at £20,340 (P11d) for the Titanium trim, there is also a sportier ST Line.
