MITSUBISHI is looking to expand its dealership network in a bid to increase its market share from 1% to 1.5% - but some existing dealers may fall by the wayside in the process.
After a review of the existing network, Mitsubishi is currently working on a new contract for dealers, but not all of the 116 franchises are expected to meet the requirements contained within it. The importer has now embarked on a recruitment drive to increase its representation to 130 outlets by the end of the year and cash in on growing fleet demand for the cars.
