VAUXHALL'S list of solus fleet deals has expanded with the addition of Norwich-based civil engineering and construction company May Gurney. The company operates a fleet of 230 cars and light commercial vehicles and, under the terms of the deal, Vauxhall Vectra and Astra cars and Astravans will be supplied to staff.

May Gurney's plant and transport manager John Warne said: 'The wholelife running costs of all the Vauxhall products we have selected are the best around.' Safety, security and reliability were also an issue and Warne added: 'Security is paramount in the construction industry. We can't afford to have valuable equipment stolen. Durability is also what we need because some of the sites have no roads and the vehicles have to cope with some pretty tough terrain.'
