LONDON Borough of Sutton has ordered the Freeway PC-based fleet software system to help with the management of 200 vehicles and plant. The fleet belongs to the Borough's contract services division, responsible for refuse and cleansing, catering and management of grounds and car parks.

Freeway monitors fleet performance, signalling unreliable vehicles and areas of inefficiency, and will be linked to a fuel pump and monitoring system with fuel consumption information sent automatically to Freeway. The system also automatically generates service schedules, reminders for MoTs and insurance renewals.
