MORE than 2,000 PHH Vehicle Management Services customers have been asked to contribute their views on the Government's plans for an integrated transport policy. PHH has circulated its own consultation document - 'Politics and the Business Vehicle ... Your Chance to Shape Policy' - in advance of the deadline for comments on the Government's own report 'Developing an Integrated Transport Policy'.

The deadline for comments on that paper expires on Friday, November 14. The document is the second stage of PHH's strategy to canvass views from the fleet industry and, with PHH's own views, present them to the Government in the run-up to next spring's transport white paper.

PHH managing director David Knight said: 'Some difficult policy decisions have to be faced in order to achieve the delicate balance between economic and environmental priorities, but everyone with a stake in the evolution of a fair, practical and responsible solution should make their voice heard now. We may not get another chance to shape our own future. It is important we all find the time to contribute.'
