BLACK Horse Agencies, the estate agency arm of Lloyds Bank, has taken delivery of its 1,000th vehicle on Leasecontracts' Fixed Cost Fleet Management scheme. Over the next 18 months 600 more vehicles are due for renewal and transfer to the scheme, which offers fixed service and maintenance costs with guaranteed residuals for self-funded vehicles.

Black Horse Agencies, through consultant fleet manager George Emmerson, of Emmerson Hill Associates, has been a Leasecontracts customer for more than three years. Emmerson said: 'The relationship has gone from strength to strength, with Fixed Cost Fleet Management combining both operating efficiencies and real financial benefits. The results have fully justified our initial confidence in this ground-breaking fleet product.' He said the combination of an 'inplant' independent consultant as fleet manager and the operational resources of Leasecontracts had proved very successful.
