MORE of Britain's top leasing companies have adopted the RAC-British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association's 'Fair Wear & Tear Guide'. The good practice guide has now been adopted by 65% of the association's 120 leasing company members following its launch last year.

Around 20,000 copies of the 25p A5 booklet have so far been sold. The independent guide for vehicle contract hire and leasing operations sets out an impartial interpretation and definition of what constitutes 'fair wear and tear' in fleet vehicles reaching the end of their leasing period.
