HONDA has appointed three new fleet executives in a bid to develop the most professional company car sales network in Britain. Ross MacKerron, Duncan Johnston and Andy Rowe have boosted the strength of the Honda (UK) regional sales team to 12 under moves aimed at fostering closer working relationships between the fast-expanding company and its 15 corporate sales centres.

After achieving 9,100 fleet sales last year, Honda (UK) is aiming to expand further and the company has created a special business user package which offers the remainder of its 180 dealers consultancy support, on-site assistance with training and help with providing ride and drive events.

MacKerron will be responsible for Scotland and Northern Ireland, Johnston will oversee the south west and Rowe will be in charge of the south east. Meanwhile, Ken Keir has been appointed managing director of Honda (UK) replacing Toshio Ishino who becomes president, Honda (UK). Keir (46), was previously director and general manager of the manufacturer's car division.
