AUTOLEASE, which operates a fleet of 25,000 vehicles, has renewed its contract with the RAC to provide roadside rescue and recovery across the UK and Europe. The two-year deal was officially signed on Tuesday - the opening day of the 1997 Fleet Motor Show - and the contract sees the RAC providing Autolease company car drivers with a one-stop one-call 'travel shop' for help when they travel to the continent.

Autolease EuroTravel is being launched as a dedicated travel desk for all Autolease fleet vehicle drivers. Available nationally via a multi-line 0345 local call rate number, the service is being operated out of the RAC's £16 million Bristol supercentre.

As well as providing pay-on-use cover for Autolease drivers involved in vehicle breakdowns in Europe, the new EuroTravel service will see the RAC raising and issuing all paperwork required for Autolease drivers taking their vehicles to the continent.
