GODFREY Davis has won the fleet business of two subsidiaries of General Cable - Yorkshire Cable and The Cable Corporation. The open-ended deal, which is for a total of 650 vehicles, charges Godfrey Davis with the acquisition, management and disposal of the fleet in a contract management agreement.

General Cable is one of the UK's largest service providers in the country's rapidly expanding cable television and telecommunications industry. The fleet, which will predominantly comprise Ford and Rover models, will consist of a mix of management and work cars and liveried vans.
