FOREST Enterprise has decided to contract hire its Land Rover Defenders for the first time to ease the pressure on capital. British Car Contracts has secured the four-year deal to supply 21 Land Rovers, which represents the first contract won by its new light commercial division.

The vehicles will be used to help the estate management of Forestry Commission woodland, and will be built to a specification, including tyre equipment and towing gear, detailed by Forest Enterprise's mechanical engineering services. MES will provide all maintenance and repair support, and its workshops will have direct links to BCC in case of problems.
