FLEETNET is planning a lively and varied schedule for its latest open day later this month. The fleet industry's electronic commerce steering committee has recruited a wealth of industry expertise to talk at the event, which takes place at the Heritage Motor Centre at Gaydon on Thursday, September 25.

Among the speakers will be Philip Swain of Dial Contracts, Ray Durnall of Swan National and Philip Jackson of Smart Choice. Topics will include the DVLA electronic relicensing initiative, latest developments on the Internet and a new direction to take Fleetnet into the 21st century.

Fleetnet will also be launching its new website and the 'Roadmap' guide to electronic commerce - a comprehensive package designed to steer companies round perils and pitfalls of implementing electronic commerce.
