PHARMACEUTICAL giant Schering-Plough has signed a pan-European deal for its 1,660-strong fleet across five countries with the Interleasing global leasing and fleet management alliance. Interleasing partners, which include Arriva Automotive Solutions in the UK, will provide fleet management for Schering-Plough's UK fleet, finance lease and fleet management in Germany, and contract hire-type arrangements in France, Italy and Spain.

Insurance and fuel management also feature as part of the contract on a country-by-country basis. Brian Mayger, Arriva's international co-ordinator, said: 'While our pricing was competitive, it was our ability to tailor our offering to Schering-Plough's highly specific needs that won the deal.' He added that Interleasing was working with Schering-Plough on the needs of its Mexican fleet.
