EXPANDING healthcare computer systems company HBO has awarded a 125-vehicle sale and leaseback deal to fleet management company Dial. Dial already runs 75 vehicles under an agreement made in 1993, but HBO has seen its fleet grow in the past five years and used the sale and leaseback of vehicles worth about £1 million to free capital for further investment and remove costs from the balance sheet. Dial will also provide an accident management service.

Sue Morrell, fleet manager for HBO, said: 'Having worked with Dial for several years, we are confident the fleet finance and management solutions they provide will continue to meet our changing and increasing fleet requirements. By managing our cash flow and reducing administrative burdens, Dial has enabled us to channel resources into our core business for further success in the future.'

Steve Courtney, Dial's divisional director of sales, said: 'We believe our positive working relationship has always helped us to achieve HBO's objectives.'
