THE AA Driving School has switched from Rover 114s to Ford Fiestas in a 10,000-car deal worth £110 million over the next four years. British Car Contracts has retained the contract to fund and manage the learner driver fleet, an important win for the company following its independence from Rover.

The Fiesta 1.25 Ghia X cars will be built to order and sourced directly from the factory, before being sent for the preparation and installation of AA Driving School special accessories. BCC will manage the delivery, logistical and outsourcing arrangements of the Fiestas for the AA's 1,000-plus instructors, who will change cars every six months.
