PHH Vehicle Management Services has pledged to maintain the Dialcard and Overdrive fuel card brands, and to keep open Fleet Cost Management's operation in Solihull, following its acquisition of Harpur UK last year. But FCM's accident management company Automanagement will close, with customers transferred to PHH Accident Management.

The decisions follow a review which identified areas where back office efficiencies could be achieved and where customer loyalties to brands, staff and services existed. Harpur's fuel card operation in Trowbridge will be moved to PHH's headquarters in Swindon, but Dialcard and Overdrive will continue.

FCM will continue to sell fleet management, retaining its maintenance controllers and sales staff, and concentrating on the self-managed fleet sector, where it provides a maintenance network, favourable buying terms and invoice processing to companies which wish to retain hands-on management of their fleet operations.
