THE 10 franchised networks expressing the most confidence in perceived value of their franchise, according to the 17th twice-yearly Retail Motor Industry Federation's National Franchised Dealers Association 'Dealer Attitude Survey' are: BMW, Jaguar, Chrysler Jeep, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, Land Rover, Hyundai, Volkswagen, Toyota and Volvo.

NFDA director Alan Pulham said: 'Continued consumer confidence, a return of stability and equity in the housing market and the impact of windfall monies should ensure that the market will achieve the high levels of 1997. Encouragingly, suppliers appear to be working more closely with their networks which is reflected in the positive findings of the survey.'

The least valued franchise, according to the survey, is Proton followed by Mitsubishi, Kia, Daihatsu and Citroen.
