AT&T Automotive Services has launched a new CD-ROM to replace its disk-based self-quoting software. The system allows users to select contract criteria, such as mileage and duration, and access quotes on contract hire or contract purchase with and without maintenance, personal contract motoring, hire purchase and GAP insurance.
The software holds details of manufacturers and accessories for 3,000 cars, plus information on insurance groups, P11D list prices and urban fuel consumption figures. Users can produce quotes either by keying in the vehicle they require or finding a vehicle based on a monthly budget. Printed quotes can then be used as orders.
Drivers considering using personal contract schemes can also use the system to calculate the cost of running a car through such a policy.
