BSM Fleet Training has entered into a driver training partnership with GE Capital Fleet Services. Under the new deal, BSM will work with GE Capital Fleet Services to offer training to users the 90,000 UK vehicles handled by GE companies Avis Fleet Services, Cochranes Fleet Services and Leasecontracts.

BSM Fleet Training managing director Chris Reynolds said there would be opportunities for driver training fees to be included in rental payments and for guaranteed pay-backs for selected, large fleet customers. He said: 'It is both our companies' firm belief that for fleet safety training to be taken seriously it has to be linked to quality products and quality support services. The selection of training and risk management courses available from BSM together with special rates for GE Capital Fleet Services clients means there has never been a better time to tackle the effect of accidents long-term at a price to suit all budgets.'

GE Capital Fleet Services director of corporate communications Geoff Becque said the company was working hard to offer clients quality services with real long-term cost control benefits.
