FLEET driver training group NDI/Drive & Survive has appointed David Knight, former managing director of PHH Vehicle Management Services, as a non-executive director. He is also a non-executive director of PHH, now part of the Cendant Corporation which is in the process of buying RAC Motoring Services, parent of driver training school BSM and BSM Fleet Training.

Knight said his new role brought no conflict of interest, and added he was looking forward to bringing the independent focus of a fleet expert to help grow the business of NDI/Drive & Survive, the preferred supplier of fleet training to PHH.

Paul Austin, managing director of NDI/Drive & Survive, said: 'David Knight commands immense respect in the fleet industry and I am very pleased that he has agreed to come on board. We, too, are continuing to break new ground in our sector, and his many years of commercial experience will undoubtedly prove invaluable to us.'
