MAJOR growth at Sixt Rent A Car has prompted the company to seek a new head office, while simultaneously two senior members of staff have departed. Sixt is moving its head office from Bletchley, near Milton Keynes - the former headquarters of European Car Rental which it bought last year - to a site closer to Heathrow.
Kevin Finn, managing director of Sixt Leasing, said: 'We are going through a reorganisation of our head office and amalgamating the rental and leasing teams.' Finn has taken over the sales and marketing responsibilities of Sixt Rent A Car, while keeping his leasing role, in a change which has seen the departure of David McNeal, Sixt Rent A Car's sales and marketing director, and national sales manager Peter Flanagan.
Finn said rapid growth - which has seen Sixt increase its UK rental fleet to around 4,500 vehicles operating from 36 locations, and its leasing fleet accelerate to 1,000 units - has made new headquarters imperative, and staff will be offered relocation.
