BRITISH Car Auctions is getting set for a mass of vehicle remarketing business with the S plate's arrival tomorrow (Saturday). And specially established to cope with the demand is BCA's new and fully operational fleet services department, based at the Belle Vue auction centre, Manchester.

This follows a three-month initialisation and training period for the new nationwide service for fleet operators. The department provides a centralised vehicle remarketing service for smaller fleets, making available a similar range of services and opportunities on offer to larger fleet vendors at any of the 23 auction centres nationwide.

Tony Gannon, BCA's sales and marketing director, said: 'We are delighted to offer this premium service to local fleet operators at this busy time of the year. For every new car that comes on to a company fleet, there is invariably a used car that must be remarketed swiftly, efficiently and for true market value. With the S plate generating such an increase in volume from company fleets into the used car market, the department helps fleet operators get the very best out of their vehicles by delivering real benefits.'
