JONATHAN Burr, managing director of GE Capital Fleet Services, has resigned from the company to develop new business opportunities. He had been managing director of GECFS, which includes Avis Fleet Services, Leasecontracts, Cochranes and Pantech, for three years.

Dan Farrar, president and chief executive officer of GE Capital Fleet Services Europe, will take responsibility for the UK operation, alongside its existing directors, until the company appoints a replacement.
