ATS Euromaster has announced a £9 million investment in a new customer service centre which will revolutionise the way it handles corporate customers. The state-of-the-art facility on the Aston Expressway, north of Birmingham, is the essential ingredient in ATS Euromaster's new Fleet Master management system.

This will form the foundation of the company's major fleet expansion plan, and provide the blueprint for ATS Euromaster's pan-European development. Fleet Master incorporates three key elements - implant tyre management controllers at major fleets' offices, outsourced tyre authorisation, and fixed price contracts. The fast-fit giant already has 27 tyre management controller implants at large customers, but the outsourced tyre authorisation is new.

Customer-dedicated contact numbers will provide a 'branded' service for fleets, so calls will be answered in the name of a customer, and this will be followed up with detailed management information for fleet managers. Finally, major enhancements to ATS Euromaster's fixed price contract - a sort of contract hire for tyres - will bring much greater sophistication to the service, which already covers 21,000 vehicles from two customers. ATS Euromaster expects this number to reach 100,000 by the end of the year.
