ONE of the founder members of the Institute of Car Fleet Management is stepping down from the organisation to concentrate on his own business interests. Peter Moxon, who was instrumental in helping the fleet training organisation to launch in January 1993, has been a director and general secretary of ICFM since then.

However, Moxon has announced he is stepping down to spend more time building up his fleet consultancy, Sheffield-based Moxon Moore Vehicle Management. The ICFM has about 750 members, but it is estimated that there are more than 15,000 people in the UK who could qualify for membership and undertake the various fleet manager training courses offered.
