CAR industry experts are being asked to help SEAT's next new models make deeper inroads in the fleet market. Companies which specialise in providing vehicle running have all been approached for advice in the run-up to the launch of the next-generation Ibiza and Cordoba ranges in September. SEAT UK officials think input from industry influencers holds the key to the success of the heavily-revised hatchback, saloon and estate cars in Britain's fast-growing user-chooser sector.

Business marketing manager Robert Couldwell said: 'This formula proved to be a tremendous success when we launched the Toledo so we can do no better than repeat the exercise. The new Ibiza and Cordoba offer a massive leap in quality and value, and we want to put that advantage to best use.

'We regard this launch as a huge opportunity to build on what we are already achieving with the Toledo. These cars have a distinctive look and dramatically higher perceived quality. SEAT is no longer a budget brand, and we think our competitors will find it hard to match the packaging of the Ibiza and Cordoba.'
