MITSUBISHI'S revised and renamed Challenger four-wheel drive model goes on sale on March 1 at reduced prices starting from £18,995 on-the-road. Now called Shogun Sport, the five-door model fits in between the Shogun Pinin and the all new-Shogun due to be launched in May.

Prices are up to 6% less than some Challenger models. The Shogun Sport is available with a 2.5-litre 98bhp turbodiesel engine or a 3.0-litre 174bhp V6 petrol unit and with GLX and GLS trim. On-the-road prices for the Shogun Sport are: 2.5TD GLX £18,995, 2.5TD GLS £23,595, 3.0 GLS £24,495 and 3.0 GLS automatic £25,695.
