KIA and dealer group Perry are using the internet to gain a new sales foothold in north west London as the manufacturer looks to more than double its market share to 1% within three years. Claimed to be the first completely virtual car dealership in the world, the Kia Direct website (www.kiadirect.co.uk) is designed to cover a traditional-size sales territory but without the costs of building a dealership in the capital.
The new site, managed by Perry, provides information on all the Kia range and offers sales, servicing and test drive bookings via the internet or telephone.
