DRIVERS are finding motorway journeys increasingly jam-free, according to the fourth national Road User Satisfaction Survey.

It claims the percentage of drivers who felt their most recent journey was free from congestion rose from 46% in 1997 - the last time drivers were asked - to 56% in 1999.
