THE Confederation of British Industry has established an action group to review Government policy on road-user taxes including company car taxation.
The group includes the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders, the Road Haulage Association, the TUC and the National Farmers Union and could also include the AA, RAC, leasing companies and fleets. It will make proposals to the Government ahead of the autumn's Pre-Budget report by Chancellor of the Exchequer Gordon Brown.
