SAAB is to reveal a series of new models within the next 12 months in a bid to boost global sales by 50%. GM has consistently said it wants to expand the Swedish manufacturer's product line-up but a year after taking full control of the company no new products have been exhibited or discussed.
GM chief executive Rick Wagoner said it was the intention to 'broaden the range' and he specifically ruled out downsizing, although he declined to reveal further details.
