THE new Range Rover has been unveiled at a VIP reception at the Design Museum in London before its official unveiling at the Detroit Motor Show in January.

The car, which will be powered by a 3.0-litre six cylinder common rail turbodiesel or a 4.4-litre V8 petrol engine, will go on sale in the UK on February 15, 2002. It is significantly larger than the current car, with more interior space, and while it retains the same basic profile of the current model it combines it with styling cues from the original Range Rover.
