LEX Service has finalised a 10-year £500 million contract from the Ministry of Defence to manage 9,000 non-combatant road vehicles making up the UK-based Tri-Service White Fleet of the British Army, Navy and RAF. The contract is one of the largest in fleet history.

From April 1, Lex Service's Lex Defence Management subsidiary will provide 70 specialist staff based at 15 MoD sites to manage and maintain the fleet. The company was named preferred bidder for the deal last autumn.
