KWIK-Fit Hometune will be adding new vehicles to its fleet at the rate of one a week throughout 2001, taking its total number of mobile servicing vans to 200. Since 1999, Hometune fleet has grown from 60 vans to 150 in a bid to extend mobile servicing to fleets.

Hometune provides vehicle servicing at home or work addresses with charges negotiated on a fleet-by-fleet basis. However, a fleet can expect to reduce servicing bills by an average of 25% over franchised dealer charges, the company claims. The company's mobile services division now totals 600 vehicles with the inclusion of Kwik-Fit Hometune and Silver Shield Windscreens - one of the largest mobile services in Britain.
