TATA is offering £500 cash-back to buyers of the entry-level two-wheel drive Loadbeta 2.0 Tdi model. With a 1,000kg payload, the Tata now costs from £6,995, excluding VAT.

The cashback move follows a revamp of the Loadbeta range last year which saw revisions made to the power steering, final drive ratio and interior improvements including more durable seat fabric and bigger door pockets. Power comes from a 90bhp 2.0-litre turbodiesel engine and the Loadbeta is covered by a three-year/60,000-mile warranty package, six-year anti-corrosion guarantee and a year's free membership of Green Flag roadside recovery.
